Trying so hard to get prego!!!! =(?

My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about 7 months now and no luck. I have irregular periods so i dont exactly know when i ovulate and i tried a kit but my doc. told me to just have lots of sex and dont think about it so much b.c the stress could make it so it was harder to get preg. The kit just frustrated me so i stop doing that and i just dont know what to do!!

My questions:

How long does it take the average couple to concieve?

Do u think i have any luck at all in get pregnant?!? ( i just feel hopeless and want to give up!) =(

Is there anything i could do to help me to get pregnant without having to take any pills or anything like that?

Any other suggestions on helping me with getting pregnant w/out getting any kits or anything like that b.c they frustrate me!! I would really appreciate it..

Thanks =) =)!!!

Trying so hard to get prego!!!! =(?
7 months is not long at all for TTC (especially if you have irregular periods).

If you want to maximize your chances, but not want to deal with medications, try reading the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It will teach you how to read the fertility signs your own body provides to let you know when the most optimum time to do the baby dance is. It's also just plain a wealth of information every woman (and man) should know.
Reply:Hey! I am in the SAME boat as you. I have been off b.c for about a year now. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for just as long. We are geting very frustrated as the same as you. Dont give up! Have fun. It will come in time

some info other people told me

1. it usually takes up to a year to get pregos.

2.If you have irrigular periods then try metfoman. It helps regulate period and starts ovulation.

Relax sweetie. I know its hard. good luck!
Reply:my husband and i have been ttc for 15 months. and i have irregular periods. but i got on Provera.. go to your doc..
Reply:Hi...

I am on the same boat as you....

I have been trying for about a year now, And i just started tracking my periods and when i am ovulating, Before i was irregular then in time i be came regular, But still no luck,

So i started this ovulation chart and it told me when i would be ovulating, I started that last month, and about 2 weeks no i started taking Pernatal Pills, I heard it could help you conceive, and drink lots of water, I think my problem was night drink water, I use to drink alot of Ice tea, and it wasn't decaf and i had coffee too. So i quit the coffee and just drank tea nothing but tea!!!! then i read drinking water and help sperm reach to the egg, So i have been drinking water allot. and taking prenatal pills, I am not say the pills will make you have a baby just help the process that's all....Try to relaxes...

And after you period is done try and have sex with your husband.....Since you don't know when you period comes. But just have sex every other day if you want, Just your husband can build up sperm.

I hope this help you Lil bit, I have been reading allot about pills and when trying to have baby's I know its hard. But hang in there, You Lil one will come =)

And hopefully mine will come SOON =)

Babyy Dust to you and you husband And Mee too =)
Reply:i can relate completely. we have sex every other day starting very early in my cycle b/c my naturopath believes i am ovulating early and i have a very short cycle. those ovulation predictor sticks are a real pain in the butt b/c if you miss that LH surge, you could very well waste an entire month supply of sticks.

once your cycle becomes regular, i think your odds of getting pregnant will increase significantly. do you have a decent ob/gyn? if not, go see someone else. are you charting your waking basal body temperature? it's really easy. buy a basal body thermometer and chart the waking temp at a website like fertilityfriend.com

the temps will give you insight into your cycle length and you will see patterns that indicate ovulation. the trick is to have a fresh batch of sperm in the vicinity of the soon-to-be-released egg.

my naturopath has me on a few fixes, so i am patiently trying to wait for my body to adjust. at the same time, i'm still TTC and each month. it's been over a year and i've had 2 early miscarriages.

don't give up. it is a very stressful process, but i promise you that once your cycles are regular, your odds of TTC will increase.
